Kuwait University Accredited as Healthy University City by WHO

The Secretary General of #Kuwait_University and the official spokesman for the university, Prof. Fayez Munshar Al-Dhafiri, announced that Kuwait University has been accredited as a Healthy University City by the World Health Organization (WHO).

This achievement comes after the official visit made by the World Health Organization delegation to evaluate Sabah Al-Salem University City as a Healthy University City, in #Sabah Al-Salem_University_City - Al-Shadadiyah during last December.

The Acting Secretary General of Kuwait University, Prof. Fayez Al-Dhafiri said that the accreditation of the Healthy University City came as an affirmation of Kuwait University’s developmental and cultural mission, which the university dedicates to the individual and society, thereby achieving a solid and prominent position regionally and globally.

He expressed his gratitude for all aspects of cooperation undertaken between the university and health institutions that played a constructive role in following up on achieving the standards and the goals of the Healthy Cities Initiative, which Kuwait University joined through its responsibility towards the educational process and its advancement through an advanced and contemporary strategic vision to achieve its future goals.
