Disney on Ice is making a comeback to Abu Dhabi. This year's family-friendly event includes a fresh twist in the form of new entertainment. It's called Disney on Ice presents Mickey and Friends, and it'll be played from October 12 to 16 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island.
Mickey Mouse will be taken on a trip by his friends Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy to uncover his favorite memory of all time. Show hosts will use Mickey's "Mouse Pad" to urge fans to join in the fun and guide the group through Disney stories, showcasing unforgettable moments from beloved classics.
More popular Disney characters will appear along the voyage, including Moana, Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Dory from Finding Nemo, and more.
See how far Moana will go to preserve her island and become a courageous wayfinder when she fearlessly goes on an action-packed journey into unexplored territory with the magnificent demigod Maui. Join Anna and Elsa, the royal sisters, and Olaf, the comical snowman, as they perform songs including "Let it Go" and "In Summer." Dive beneath the waves as Sebastian's hot crustacean band performs an '80s pop montage to introduce Ariel. When the spunky Rapunzel and her attractive companion, Flynn Rider, pay a visit to the Snuggly Duckling, they become mixed up with a chorus of raucous residents as she dares to explore the world outside her own and view the floating lights.
The concert lasts around an hour and a half to two hours, with a 15 to 20-minute interval in between. Tickets are on sale today, with a 10% early-bird discount available until July 1.
