Panasonic launches its latest PT-MZ880 laser projector series in the region

Featuring edge blending and new zero-offset UST zoom lens compatibility, PT-MZ880 is ideal for corporate, education and museum environments

Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa FZE (PMMAF) has announced the launch of its versatile PT-MZ880 Series LCD Laser Projectors in the region. Ideal for the corporate, education and museum market, the PT-MZ880 comes in a sleek design and features superior image quality, as well as a hassle-free set-up.

An upgraded version of the PT-MZ770 range, the new Solid Shine Series has multiple models, including PT-MZ880 (8,000 lm), PT-MZ780 (7,000 lm), and PT-MZ680 (6,000 lm) WUXGA with a refined Multi-Laser Drive Engine for the optimal balance of high brightness, vivid colour, and low-maintenance operation. In addition, there is a built-in Edge Blending functionality to facilitate seamless images across multiple screens.

A future-proof solution for the region’s demanding display market, the series is compatible with the new Panasonic zero-offset Ultra Short Throw zoom lens, which is slated for release later this year. Ideal for creating immersive viewing experiences in venues such as museums and arenas, the projector features unmatched picture quality with refined optical engine balances and brightness, enabling users to enjoy immersive viewing even in bright light. The versatile device can fit any space and allows for flexible installation, which will be particularly helpful during corporate, education and museum exhibitions. The vivid, flexible and cost-effective LCD projectors can easily bring the shows to life.

Hidetoshi Kaneko, Director and Head of System Solutions and Communication Division, PMMAF said: “Our goal is to create engaging images that provide an immersive experience to viewers and enable our customers to create super creative spaces. The versatile new series of projectors with UST Zoom lens is perfect for delivering superb quality images across single or multiple screens in a wide variety of conditions. They are eco-friendly, incredibly reliable, and flexible to use in any environment.”

Incredibly reliable and eco-friendly, the new series offers a stable LCD projection while also reducing energy consumption around 20% lower than its previous models. The Washable Eco Filter and failover-protected Multi-Laser Drive Engine delivers an estimated 20,000 hours maintenance-free. These power savings can be instrumental in minimising the carbon footprint.

The Crestron Connected™, Art-Net DMX, and PJLink™ compatible projectors are ready to integrate and future-proofed with 4K input capability. The series supports Panasonic Multi-Monitoring & Control Software featuring optional Early Warning functions to streamline device management and enhance system reliability. The Smart Projector Control app enables On Screen Display menu adjustment in standby mode and intuitive control from compatible smartphones and tablets.
