Egypt Book Fair 2022, Everything You Need to Know

The management of the Cairo International Book Fair has announced that registration is now open for all publishers interested in participating in the 53rd edition, which will take place from January 26 to February 6, 2022, via the website cairobookfair.gebo.gov.eg.

This edition, which will be hosted in the Egypt International Exhibition Center, will feature Greece as the honorary guest of honour. A specific hall will be set aside for children's books and activities for the first time. This hall will provide field publishers, educational aids, and school books, as well as all art, cultural, intellectual, and creative activities for children.

The exhibition will be divided into five halls: the first and second halls will be for Egyptian publishers, the third hall will be for Arab and foreign publishers, as well as Egyptian publishers specialising in foreign books, the fourth hall will be for heritage book publishers, cultural institutions, and Azbakeya wall libraries, and the fifth hall will be for publishers of heritage books, cultural institutions, and Azbakeya wall libraries, and the fifth hall will be for publishers of heritage books, cultural institutions, and Azbakeya wall.

Through the criteria booklet, the Egyptian General Book Organization has specified a number of significant points that publishing companies wishing to participate in the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair must make. It is not permitted to exceed the party outside the authorised space, and whoever breaches this by having a signing ceremony that is not included in the list given to the exhibition management or within the wings, the penalty will be enforced according to the rules of the violations.

According to the terms of reference, the authority has the authority to cancel or change the venue of any of the aforementioned concerts, as well as to notify the publishing house of the cancellation or change of venue, and the days and times for delivering books at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions and Conferences will be determined later.

Exhibitors are also not allowed to put up any posters on the walls or hallways, and if they do, they will be fined 500 pounds for each poster they put up. They are only allowed to put up posters inside the pavilions and without heights.
