"Souk Al-Magasis" an old bazaar in heart of Kuwait capital

Almubarakiah district hosts diverse popular markets, including the locally known as "Souk Al-Magasis," where various goods are sold for low prices.

The local term "Al-Magasis" is rooted in "Al-Mugasas," a limited-income citizen, living in the old times, where he (she) had to trade in personal belongings to make some money.

The old souk has survived modern development in the heart of the capital, a distinctive feature of the shopping district which attracts people, including tourists.
