Kuwait declares three-day mourning over death of Saudi King Abdullah and the rest of Hala Feb 2015 events cancelled
Kuwait declared on Friday a three-day mourning as of Friday, Saturday and Sunday over the death of Saudi King Abdullah, who passed away this morning, said Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.

Due to the big loss of the death of King Abdullah, Kuwaiti leadership and people offered condolences to the new Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the new Crown Prince Muqrin, the Saudi people and both Arab and Islamic nations for the demise of King Abdullah, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah told KUNA on Friday.

With the death of King Abdullah, the nation has lost an outstanding leader, who served his county and people a lot, and was a symbol of sincerity, honesty and commitment to values and principles, the minister said.

All Kuwaitis will remember the bold and brotherly stances of the late King Abdullah during the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait, he noted, praying to Allah to bless the soul of the late King with mercy in Paradise.

Sheikh Mohammad wished success for the new King Salman and his Crown Prince Muqrin to complete renaissance and progress in Saudi Arabia.
