Choosing a restaurant to order food through Talabat is not always easy, you have so many options and you need to make up your mind. After going through the menu of several restaurants listed on Talabat, we decided to choose Catch of the Day. We felt curious to try their food especially after seeing many social media celebrities recommending it.
Catch of the Day menu consists of many seafood options but for our first time trial, we chose Dynamite Shrimp (KD3.5) which consists of Crispy shrimp, spicy dynamite sauce and garnish sesame seeds.
We also chose Mussels & Shrimp Medium Pot (KD10) that consists of Mussels & shrimp, 2 slices of cob corn, 2 slices green capsicum, 4 slices of carrots little onions slices of fresh lemon in choice of sauce, each meal includes 1 steam rice and 1 shrimp ceasar salad.
We placed our order through Talabat, they mentioned that delivery will be within 60 minutes and our order arrived exactly after 50 minutes.
We received the order with gloves and a table cover to put the food on it. And here, all the joy started. You don't need plates and spoons at all, all you need is to empty the food on the table cover, put on your gloves and start eating.
Actually the Mussels & Shrimp Medium Pot wasn't placed in a stainless pot but in a transparent food bag but the packaging was neat and the food arrived fresh and hot.
The Shrimp Ceasar Salad is just little and ok, Dynamite Shrimp was very good and the Mussels & Shrimp Medium Pot was super amazing. You just can't understand how it is prepared but all ingredients are just perfectly cooked together.
What we ordered from Catch Restaurant was even more than enough for two persons so the value for money is great.
If you love seafood, you can't miss this restaurant. And while writing this review now, we can't wait to try Catch of the day once again and we are willing to order other options next time.
